Responsibilities
- Build and operate the cloud-based AI platform, including compute, environments, networking, and runtime.
- Provision reproducible and auditable infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code.
- Build and maintain delivery pipelines covering build, testing, security gates, and deployment.
- Operate model and agent serving, evaluation, prompt and version management, and LLM/agent production tooling.
- Build secure data connectors, data pipelines, and integration surfaces for AI solutions.
- Implement security, data-classification, responsible-AI, IAM, secrets, egress, and policy-as-code guardrails.
- Create shared libraries, templates, and self-service tooling for AI builders and business teams.
- Instrument monitoring, logging, cost tracking, and SLOs while owning platform reliability and incident response.
- Partner with automation engineers, architects, platform/DevOps, information security, and business builders; document and support the platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or MLOps engineering experience, including hands-on operation of production cloud systems.
- Deep hands-on cloud experience, preferably with Google Cloud, plus Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience building CI/CD delivery pipelines with automated testing and security gates.
- Experience running ML, LLM, or data-intensive systems in production, including serving, evaluation, versioning, or agent runtime capabilities.
- Knowledge of security engineering fundamentals, enterprise governance, IAM, secrets, network egress, and policy-as-code.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, SLOs, reliability practices, and incident response.
- Preferred qualifications include internal developer platform or self-service tooling experience, agent/LLM infrastructure, contact center or CX technology exposure, Google Cloud or Kubernetes certifications, and responsible-AI or model-risk controls.
