Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Support automation through Bash and Python scripting.
  • Maintain production and lower environments by applying updates, troubleshooting issues, and upgrading services.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeBuild.
  • Monitor and maintain AWS services including RDS, ECS, EKS, Fargate, SQS, Redis, and OpenSearch.
  • Apply best practices in cloud security, cost optimization, and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer experience and reduce development friction.
  • Use AI-driven tools and automation frameworks to improve CI/CD, monitoring, and infrastructure operations.

Requirements

  • A BS degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience, with 2+ years of relevant experience stated in the qualifications.
  • 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or ECS, AWS, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Basic Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
  • Familiarity with aws-cli and kubectl.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
  • Nice-to-have experience includes internal developer portal automation, NodeJS applications, Java or Groovy Jenkins pipelines, monitoring and logging systems, developer experience, automation, platform engineering, and open-source participation.
