Responsibilities
- Define reusable architectures and reference patterns for agentic and multi-agent workflows.
- Standardize LLM providers, embedding models, vector databases, retrieval strategies, prompt templates, evaluators, and observability stacks.
- Lead AI solution discovery, scoping, prototyping, piloting, and production scale-out with business and engineering stakeholders.
- Own non-functional requirements covering security, privacy, compliance, performance, reliability, and AI workload cost efficiency.
- Design data contracts, RAG pipelines, retrieval strategies, hybrid search, citations, freshness controls, and hallucination guardrails.
- Define integration approaches for enterprise systems, APIs, event streams, messaging platforms, API gateways, and software delivery governance.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, end-to-end telemetry, failure-mode mitigations, and responsible-AI safety policies.
- Guide developer squads and support internal playbooks, training, coding standards, and AI hiring interviews.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of Java Full Stack Development experience.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Experience building end-to-end applications and integrating AI into enterprise systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating experimentation and rapid iteration.
- Ability to design multi-agent systems and production-grade RAG solutions.
- Experience with LLMOps or ModelOps practices such as prompt versioning, evaluation harnesses, feature flags, canarying, A/B testing, and safety gateways.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture, secrets management, policy as code, and AI cost governance.
- Experience with enterprise API gateways, event buses, messaging, and contract testing.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Java; familiarity with C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, or shell scripting is beneficial.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, messaging technologies, API gateways, and cloud SDKs is beneficial.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
