Responsibilities
- Build and ship features for the AI Assistant and Orchestration products, including agents, tools, and approval steps.
- Create evaluation cases to detect quality degradation from prompt and model changes before release.
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications across the Python, Django, Next.js, React, and Node stack.
- Use LLM application patterns including context management, tool or function calling, retrieval, and prompt and model evaluation.
- Work with Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Slack, and AI-enabled development tools in an Agile environment.
- Troubleshoot and remediate production issues and contribute to architectural evolution with principal engineers and leadership.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering is preferred.
- 6+ years of experience building scalable web applications is required, with Python, Django, React, and Node experience preferred.
- Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered features, including agents, tool or function calling, MCP or similar integrations, retrieval, and prompt and model evaluation.
- Familiarity with agentic design frameworks such as Strands, AutoGen, and LangChain.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or other cloud services is required.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and other storage technologies is required.
- Established practice writing unit and integration tests.
- Proficiency with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar tools.
- Strong collaboration, organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and cross-functional skills.
- Strong written and oral English proficiency is required.
