Responsibilities
- Design, build, unit test, integrate, deploy, and maintain scalable applications.
- Provide application maintenance and support incident escalations.
- Contribute to product feature prioritization and technology roadmaps.
- Participate in sprint planning, design, coding, unit testing, and sprint reviews.
- Translate project requirements and functional specifications into component-level application designs.
- Design, develop, and distribute reusable technical components.
- Participate in test-plan development, integration, deployment, and technical documentation.
- Provide subject matter expertise to AMS and other Center teams.
- Support application administration, configuration management, debugging, performance tuning, and productionalization.
- Help establish design and development standards and processes supporting organizational quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Information Technology experience, or technical certification and/or college courses with 6 years of Information Technology experience, or 8 years of Information Technology experience.
- Experience with traditional application languages including COBOL, Perl, and C+.
- Experience with scripting languages including BASH, Perl, Python, and Ruby.
- Experience with application and product feature design, application configuration, rapid prototyping, system performance management, and business requirements management.
- Experience with integration technologies including TIBCO, Informatica, and CAS.
- Experience with mobile technologies including HP Anywhere, iOS, Android, Java, and HTML5.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture and web technologies including HTML, CSS, Java, ASP.Net, PHP, Ruby, and C#.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies including SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Experience with Java 21, Spring Boot, REST API, microservices, Kafka, IBM MQ, SQL, Spring Security, Spring Integration, Apache Camel, CXF, Hibernate, OAuth2.0, and Spring JPA is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience with Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Mulesoft is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, Azure, Red Hat, OpenShift, persistence-layer development, and application servers such as Tomcat and WebSphere is preferred.
- Experience with high-volume transactional web applications, multiple technologies and integration patterns, and AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, business acumen, workload management, prioritization, problem-solving, analytical thinking, creative thinking, and execution ability.
