Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative, complex, and scalable applications for identity-verification challenges in a microservices environment.
- Own new and existing features and services across their full lifecycle, from conceptualization and design through production deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Risk, Data Science, and Data teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, extendable, and testable code for high-impact systems.
- Build, operate, and maintain resilient services to high standards of reliability.
- Research and integrate emerging orchestration, Generative AI, and Computer Vision technologies.
- Mentor junior team members and support their technical development.
- Safeguard data integrity and help ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over five years of experience as a Software Engineer working with complex, large-scale, diversified applications and technology stacks.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET with strong software development fundamentals in a backend or full-stack environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience working in agile environments and delivering high-quality code under tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in or proficiency with AI technologies and applying emerging technology to improve team productivity.
- Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, and Prometheus.
- Preferred experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Payments or financial-services knowledge and experience solving business problems with data-driven approaches are advantageous.
- Experience with additional programming languages is a bonus.
