Base Salary
$95k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, operate, and improve the reliability, scalability, and stability of the global CloudVision-as-a-Service fleet.
- Drive or lead projects involving data platform architecture and performance, capacity planning, autoscaling, disaster recovery, observability, service network architecture, cost optimization, and cloud-first application security.
- Continuously improve operational processes through automation.
- Participate in globally distributed follow-the-sun on-call coverage.
- Lead incident response and blameless postmortems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, or relevant equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing or managing deployments of distributed database systems or scale-out applications for a SaaS environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Golang, and/or other programming languages.
- Comfort with Bash and/or other scripting languages.
- Familiarity with GCP and GKE is preferred.
