Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global teams to implement secure software development practices.
- Contribute to critical engineering and tooling projects.
- Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions for security.
- Design and develop reusable security components and APIs.
- Define and promote best practices for software security.
- Participate in design and code reviews with actionable security recommendations.
- Collaborate with project teams to design secure solutions.
- Evaluate and implement security tools to improve visibility and reduce risk.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in application security or software development.
- Strong understanding of secure software development practices.
- Hands-on experience with security design reviews and threat modeling.
- Familiarity with common application vulnerabilities like OWASP Top 10.
- Experience with security tools such as SAST, DAST, and container security scanners.
- Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
