Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for prospective customers and own technical wins for security opportunities.
- Coordinate with sellers and managers to prioritize opportunities, competitive scenarios, and customer engagements.
- Build customer credibility as a trusted Microsoft Security advisor and proactively remediate technical blockers.
- Develop security posture recommendations, technical win plans, and audience-specific Microsoft messaging.
- Lead technical presentations, demonstrations, workshops, architecture design sessions, trials, and proofs of concept.
- Demonstrate solution capabilities, architecture patterns, and integrations within customer environments.
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners throughout the sales cycle and share security knowledge and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of technical presales or technical consulting experience, or a bachelor's degree with 4+ years, a master's degree with 3+ years, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience developing and delivering customer demonstrations and proofs of concept for security across competitive offerings.
- Native or business-level Japanese proficiency.
- Preferred: 8+ years of technical presales, consulting, technology delivery, or related experience, or equivalent.
- Preferred: 6+ years working with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructure, architecture, migrations, industry standards, or technology management.
- Preferred: experience with AI-powered security solutions, generative AI workload and agent security, and frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications or the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
- Preferred: Microsoft 365 Security Administration or Cloud Security certification and industry certifications such as CISSP or CCSP.
- Business-level or higher English proficiency is a plus.
