Base Salary

$191k - $267k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Management, Product Design, Data Science, and iOS, Android, and web client engineers to translate user and business needs into reliable, low-latency solutions.
  • Own major product initiatives end to end, including technical design, API contracts, development, testing, rollout, and observability.
  • Design, build, and evaluate A/B experiments using behavioral, conversion, retention, and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain scalable APIs and distributed backend services optimized for consumer-facing web experiences.
  • Improve engineering practices and developer workflows, mentor teammates, and use AI-assisted tools to ship high-quality products.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of software development experience in frontend-focused programming languages including JavaScript, TypeScript, or ES6.
  • Experience with frontend web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular, along with CSS.
  • 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience building and operating large-scale distributed serving systems in high-concurrency environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing maintainable APIs using GraphQL, REST, HTTP, or Thrift is a plus.
  • Experience or interest in AI-assisted engineering tools, experimentation, product metrics, cross-functional collaboration, and user-centered product development.
