Responsibilities
- Own technical design and end-to-end delivery of complex features across backend services, data models, and frontend experiences.
- Build and operate reliable, observable production systems for experimentation, feature flags, session replay, and heatmaps.
- Collaborate on AI capabilities, SDKs, shared infrastructure, and architectural decisions with AI Engine, Product Platform, Product, and Design.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and one-on-one support.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex bugs, on-call incidents, customer escalations, and prospect technical questions.
- Identify and lead future work beyond the current roadmap while balancing technical, product, business, quality, and cost considerations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building and operating production systems end to end with ownership of reliability and correctness.
- Expert-level depth in systems, web, or data infrastructure with broad full-stack architecture knowledge.
- Experience owning technical design for complex projects and managing multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, technical communication, prioritization, technology selection, and tradeoff judgment.
- Track record of mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth.
- Experience collaborating effectively in an asynchronous remote environment is preferred.
