Responsibilities
- Set the standard for how the estate is run, kept reliable and accredited.
- Be the source of design others build and run from, anticipating second-order effects.
- Diagnose systemic reliability issues to structural fixes across multiple classification domains.
- Set the team's automation standard with exemplary code and deliberate choices.
- Carry the estate's ISM/PSPF posture and set accreditation approaches.
- Provide thought leadership that shapes reliability practices across engineering teams.
- Mentor team members to raise the bar in automation, systems design, and infrastructure craft.
Requirements
- Around twelve or more years in infrastructure, reliability, or platform engineering.
- A trusted track record of running production toolchains and classified-domain infrastructure.
- Authoritative across both cloud-native and classified on-premises estates.
- Real ISM/PSPF accreditation ownership and influence over estate operations.
- Exemplary scripting and automation judgment with the ability to set standards.
- Systems-design authority at platform scale with clear communication skills.
- Australian citizen able to obtain and maintain an Australian NV2 security clearance.
