Base Salary
$70k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance core banking and client-onboarding platforms.
- Design APIs, backend services, microservices, integrations, and orchestration layers for complex workflows.
- Develop performant and usable frontend applications across React or Angular.
- Own features from design through production support and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Deliver LLM-enabled capabilities including document processing, intelligent onboarding, search, summarization, and decision support.
- Implement and optimize RAG pipelines involving chunking, embeddings, vector search, and grounding in source documents.
- Develop LLM features using prompt design, structured outputs, tool calling, and robust error and edge-case handling.
- Establish validation and evaluation practices for AI output quality and regression detection.
- Apply security and safety controls including input validation, PII handling, prompt-injection mitigation, and human-in-the-loop review.
- Contribute to API-first modernization, cloud adoption, event-driven architecture, engineering quality, CI/CD, observability, and cost and latency optimization.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Node.js, or Python and one of React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of system design, API development, scalability, and production-grade end-to-end application delivery.
- Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-based applications for end users, including practical prompt engineering and output evaluation.
- Familiarity with RAG concepts, embeddings, vector search, retrieval quality, and output quality.
- Exposure to agentic AI, tool use, multi-agent workflows, and human-in-the-loop approval patterns.
- Experience with LangChain or LangGraph, AWS Bedrock, or Copilot Studio.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Copilot and code assistants in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, ownership, and adaptability skills.
- Preferred experience in banking or other regulated or complex domains, AI security, the OWASP LLM Top 10, model evaluation or LLM observability, search or analytics platforms, cloud modernization, and event-driven or streaming architectures.
