Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP HCM and HR ABAP solutions.
- Develop and maintain custom programs, reports, interfaces, conversion programs, enhancements, forms, workflows, user exits, customer exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.
- Work with SAP HR Infotypes, Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Time Management, and Payroll modules.
- Develop and support inbound and outbound interfaces between SAP HCM and third-party applications.
- Analyze business requirements and produce technical solution designs.
- Develop payroll-related reports and custom objects.
- Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, functional consultants, product managers, designers, and other engineers.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in project planning, estimation, task management, and continuous process improvement.
- Implement software security, data protection, and compliance measures.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM and ABAP development is emphasized.
- At least 3 years of relevant and practical experience is listed in the qualifications.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, a quantitative field, or an engineering field is preferred, or significant relevant experience.
- Proficiency in programming, multiple software languages or tools, design patterns, front-end and back-end frameworks, data engineering, Infrastructure as Code, version control, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Experience with technical writing, diagramming, and technical, business, or data analysis.
- Ability to design and architect software solutions, lead development projects and teams, communicate with stakeholders, solve problems, mentor colleagues, and collaborate effectively.
