Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance software applications with a team of software engineers.
- Implement robust and efficient solutions primarily in APL and occasionally in C#.
- Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define requirements and refine features.
- Develop core functionality supporting business modules and maintain the existing codebase.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to software quality and engineering best practices.
- Write and maintain unit and automated tests, and participate in manual, exploratory, and validation testing.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities, test design, test automation, and defect analysis as needed.
- Provide customer support and continuously improve the product, team, and personal skills.
Requirements
- 1–8 years of experience in software development.
- Good working knowledge of C#, .NET Core or .NET Framework, and object-oriented design principles.
- Interest in developing software testing and quality assurance skills, including test automation.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or another academic discipline.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to work with complex architecture, meet deadlines, take ownership, and communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to learn APL and other technical or programming skills; prior APL experience is not required.
- Understanding of Agile practices, values, and principles.
- Interest in the financial domain and ability to work in a hybrid setup.
