Responsibilities
- Build, refine, tune, and maintain real-time infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and maintain services for data collection and real-time data processing.
- Work with Product Managers to design and build data products.
- Collaborate with DevOps to scale and optimize infrastructure.
- Participate in architecture discussions, influence the roadmap, and take ownership of new projects.
- Mentor developers through knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond when issues occur.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of software engineering experience.
- Two or more years of experience or fluency in Scala or Java.
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, at scale.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Expertise designing and architecting distributed, low-latency, scalable cloud solutions.
- Long-term experience with distributed data processing at scale.
- Exposure to the full software development lifecycle from inception through production and monitoring.
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly desired.
- Experience with container-based solutions is a plus.
- Experience with ZIO, Akka, or Play Framework is a plus.
- Advertising Attribution domain experience is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
