Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and supporting test infrastructure.
- Perform functional testing across UI, API, and data layers, including manual testing where required.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and support debugging and resolution.
- Write test plans and scenarios and collaborate with cross-functional teams on test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in design and coverage reviews to identify gaps and provide feedback.
- Support defect triaging and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation practices.
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Copilot to improve testing efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- Strong test automation experience with Python preferred; Java or JavaScript automation experience is also acceptable.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium or similar automation tools.
- Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions and version control systems such as GitHub.
- Exposure to Jira and BrowserStack or similar tools.
- Basic awareness of AI in testing; deep machine learning expertise is not required.
- Preferred experience includes working in product-based companies, API or performance testing, and familiarity with New Relic or LaunchDarkly.
