Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, scenarios, and test data for Guidewire PolicyCenter, JDP, and integrations.
- Perform functional, integration, API, regression, end-to-end, and release validation testing.
- Identify, document, retest, and track defects through resolution.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria for testability and quality coverage.
- Support environment validation, test data preparation, and deployment verification.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and Agile teams to validate fixes and deliver sprint commitments.
- Contribute to sprint ceremonies, continuous testing, quality improvement, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of QA experience in Agile software delivery environments.
- Experience testing Guidewire applications, preferably PolicyCenter.
- Knowledge of Property and Casualty or Business Insurance processes and terminology.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Experience with API testing and integration validation.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, ownership, and accountability skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Guidewire certification or testing certification is preferred.
