Responsibilities
- Define and drive architecture and technical direction for scalable AdTech solutions and distributed cloud platforms.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture assessments, solution design, and translation of business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct customer-facing pre-sales activities including presentations, architecture workshops, proposals, estimations, and proofs of concept.
- Advise customers on technology and architecture while identifying opportunities to expand existing engagements.
- Establish architectural standards, governance principles, and engineering best practices across projects.
- Guide engineering teams on architecture implementation, scalability, performance optimization, and distributed-systems design.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, and recommend innovative approaches.
- Mentor engineers and support technical knowledge sharing across teams.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of commercial software development experience and at least 3 years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in at least two of Golang, Rust, Node.js, and C++.
- Experience designing high-load, low-latency distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, messaging systems, caching, and API design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and production environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with REST APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, and event-streaming technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
- Experience with customer-facing technical consulting and pre-sales activities.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English and strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management, ownership, and mentoring skills.
- Preferred: commercial AdTech experience and knowledge of SSPs, DSPs, AdServers, Header Bidding, OpenRTB, Prebid, VAST, real-time bidding, and auction mechanics.
- Preferred: experience with iOS and Android advertising ecosystems, SDKs, APIs, libraries, integration frameworks, advertising analytics, fraud detection, consent management, and real-time data processing.
- Preferred: understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and privacy-first architectures.
