Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP Cloud-compliant solutions in SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud.
- Implement custom developments primarily for logistics processes including MM, SD, and PP.
- Develop and consume CDS Views and build modern ABAP RAP applications.
- Use released APIs, events, and extensibility concepts according to SAP Clean Core guidelines.
- Analyze business and technical requirements based on standard SAP S/4HANA logistics processes.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Support technical design, reviews, testing, and defect analysis.
- Act as a senior technical counterpart for onshore teams and participate in English-language solution design discussions.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development.
- Strong expertise in ABAP Cloud development principles, CDS Views, ABAP RAP, and modern S/4HANA development techniques.
- Solid development experience with SAP logistics processes and mandatory experience in SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Understanding of SAP Clean Core strategy, released APIs, and on-stack and in-app extensibility concepts.
- Experience with Eclipse and ABAP Development Tools.
- SAP certification Backend Developer - ABAP Cloud (C_ABAPD) is preferred.
- Structured, quality-oriented, responsible working style with strong communication skills and a senior team mindset.
- English proficiency of at least B2; German language skills are advantageous.
