Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve complex RTCDP product and customer issues, identify root causes, and coordinate durable solutions with engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain reliable software, integrations, scripts, and automation for diagnostics, observability, and issue prevention.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Customer Support to prioritize customer-impacting problems and translate recurring issues into product improvements.
- Apply engineering practices including implementation, testing, debugging, code review, and validation of AI-generated code.
- Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities and implementation decisions to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Document investigation findings and reusable solutions and share knowledge to improve team effectiveness.
- Evaluate and responsibly use AI-assisted development tools while protecting confidential information, customer data, privacy, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience, including work on complex applications or platforms.
- Strong programming experience in Java and/or Python.
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL technologies, data modeling, big-data technologies, analytical workflows, Apache Spark, and Jupyter or Databricks notebooks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, system integrations, cloud and distributed systems, AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience using Splunk or ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana to investigate platform behavior.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot or equivalent to write, test, and debug code.
- Ability to instruct, review, test, and assess AI-generated code and explain independent engineering reasoning and decisions.
- Understanding of responsible AI-tool use, including appropriate handling of confidential information, customer data, privacy, and security.
