Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and build next-generation control-plane infrastructure for business-critical customer workloads on the Nutanix platform.
- Develop high-quality, reusable code and unit tests for scalable distributed systems in hybrid-cloud environments.
- Define technical specifications and documentation in collaboration with product managers, architects, and technical leads.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product management, and support to drive features to completion.
- Troubleshoot networked services in Linux environments and address distributed-systems design trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience solving complex problems in distributed environments.
- Understanding of clustered, high-performance, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and/or Golang.
- Experience troubleshooting networked services in a Linux environment.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Zookeeper, NATS, or similar large-scale distributed applications is preferred.
