Responsibilities
- Design, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot reliable CI/CD pipelines for large-scale IDE releases.
- Manage branching strategies, code freezes, hotfix releases, and release decisions.
- Diagnose pipeline failures, remove build bottlenecks, and improve delivery workflows.
- Automate repetitive release tasks and improve YouTrack workflows for issue tracking.
- Gather engineering-team requirements and translate pain points into tooling improvements.
- Communicate process changes, support stakeholder transitions, and lead post-incident retrospectives.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Fluency in Kotlin or Java.
- Practical experience with Gradle or similar build systems.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Experience using YouTrack, Jira, or similar issue-tracking tools to manage workflows.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with large-scale monorepo builds, the JetBrains toolchain, plugin compatibility testing, or multi-product release pipelines is preferred.
