Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain Scribe’s billing and subscription workflows.
- Build and improve reconciliation processes for Finance and leadership.
- Work on event-driven systems ensuring correctness under various conditions.
- Contribute to self-serve and enterprise billing flows, including UI and tooling.
- Develop and maintain test coverage for financially sensitive code.
- Identify edge cases and failure modes before production deployment.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills, ideally in Python.
- Ability to write correct code and consider edge cases.
- Proactive communication and ownership of work.
- Curiosity about financial systems and a desire to understand the domain.
- Experience with Django, Celery, or PostgreSQL is a plus.
