Responsibilities
- Build internal AI coding tools and platforms to accelerate Stripe’s engineering productivity.
- Deploy LLM agents and tools safely across engineering workflows.
- Develop software for internal engineering users with a clear focus on their needs and product experience.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional hands-on software development experience.
- Strong software engineering skills, including high-quality coding, algorithms, and commonly used data structures.
- Experience building tools or platforms used by engineers or other internal users.
- Experience using AI developer tooling in day-to-day workflows.
- Ability to collaborate across workstreams, support peers, and work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.
- Strong customer focus and ability to represent customer experience when driving outcomes.
- Preferred: curiosity and strong opinions about AI in software engineering.
- Preferred: direct experience building coding or other software development tools.
- Preferred: strong data fluency using large datasets to identify user insights and inform product development.
- Preferred: product engineering experience with attention to detail and strong product judgment, especially in developer tooling.
