Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and improve scalable, maintainable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
- Build and support large-scale applications using Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and microservices architecture.
- Develop, document, and integrate RESTful web services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technology communities.
- Implement secure coding and unit testing practices to improve software reliability and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to infrastructure and deployment pipeline evolution and operational excellence.
- Analyze complex information, manage technology risks and controls, and communicate with stakeholders.
- Lead or guide collaborative assignments and contribute to policy, governance, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge and extensive experience with Core Java and J2EE design and development for large-scale applications.
- Experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, and Spring Security.
- Experience with Spring Boot microservices architecture, auto-configuration, and starters.
- Experience developing RESTful web services, including design, development, and documentation using RAML or OpenAPI.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming, data modeling, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of UI development using Angular or React JS, React Native, and micro-frontend architecture is valued.
- Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration and deployment tools and practices is valued.
- Knowledge of mobile app engineering is valued.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence stakeholders, manage risk and controls, and communicate complex information.
