Staff AI Detection Engineer
SentinelOneResponsibilities
- Research attack vectors, TTPs, and effective cybersecurity detection methods.
- Build, own, and maintain complex AI-powered detection capabilities and data pipelines.
- Apply machine learning and deep learning techniques to real threat data and train detection models.
- Write high-quality production code and develop data and AI features for the detection organization.
- Collaborate with cyber security researchers and data scientists to advance SentinelOne’s cybersecurity platform.
- Lead cross-functional projects between R&D and product teams and provide technical leadership to other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity.
- 2+ years of experience solving complex problems with modern AI/ML techniques.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity, attack vectors, TTPs, and detection methods, especially for Windows.
- Experience with data analysis tools in Python.
- Experience researching with big data infrastructures such as Spark or alternatives.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects between R&D and product teams.
