Responsibilities
- Develop analytic data processing solutions using Python and Java.
- Build or maintain data pipelines and analytic workflows.
- Process and analyze large datasets using Python libraries.
- Develop solutions in cloud-based environments.
- Work with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or MapReduce.
- Write and optimize queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Create end-to-end software and systems from vision through production readiness.
- Evaluate architecture and operating environments while planning future functionality and enhancements.
- Identify system improvements and help clients address complex technical challenges.
Requirements
- Experience developing analytic data processing solutions using Python and Java.
- Experience building or maintaining data pipelines or analytic workflows.
- Knowledge of processing and analyzing large datasets using Pandas, NumPy, or SciPy.
- Ability to develop in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Apache Spark or MapReduce.
- Ability to write and optimize SQL and/or NoSQL database queries.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Either a high school diploma or GED plus 18+ years of software engineering or data analytics development experience, or a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering plus 14+ years of relevant experience.
- Preferred: PMR experience, distributed computing experience, data modeling and schema design, Git, big data architecture, data pipeline design, performance optimization, and experience in Agile or team-based development environments.
