Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and own backend tools, services, platforms, and frameworks for engineering productivity.
- Explore and adopt AI-assisted approaches that improve software delivery efficiency and quality.
- Improve development environments, pipelines, pull-request workflows, and coding-agent support across Vinted.
- Build context, conventions, scaffolding, guardrails, and evaluation practices that improve AI-generated code.
- Research solutions, implement them end-to-end, and drive adoption across the engineering organization.
- Mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and promote best practices across teams.
Requirements
- Substantial experience designing, building, and operating backend systems, platforms, or developer tools used at scale.
- Proven experience shipping tools, platforms, or services relied upon by other engineers.
- Strong ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Extensive practical understanding of AI-assisted and LLM-based development tools, including their limitations and risks.
- Strong thought leadership, technical influence, mentoring ability, and experience driving adoption across teams.
- Passion for engineering experience and developer productivity.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Hands-on experience with Go, Kubernetes, developer tooling, CI/CD systems, or platform-like teams is a plus.
