Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable backend microservices and product features.
- Own the quality, resilience, maintainability, and full lifecycle of team services.
- Collaborate with product designers, product owners, and frontend, backend, and mobile engineers to deliver product innovations.
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes and advocate for development best practices.
- Fix bugs and refactor code to maintain product reliability and quality.
- Experiment with new technologies and participate in Technical Week for innovation and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software development experience, specifically with object-oriented programming.
- 3+ years of experience working with customer-facing products, such as e-commerce, fintech, or SaaS products.
- Experience designing, implementing, and deploying backend services focused on high availability, low latency, and consistency.
- Good understanding of API design, SQL, and relational databases.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to raise concerns, share ideas, and document work.
- Collaborative, proactive, solution-oriented, and committed to continued professional growth.
- Prior Ruby experience is not essential, but candidates should be passionate about learning new technologies.
