Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution discovery and design from problem identification through implementation.
- Analyze existing processes, systems, business rules, integrations, and constraints to model current-state operations.
- Design simplified, sustainable, and scalable future-state processes and solutions.
- Lead multidisciplinary solution-design meetings with business teams, technology teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Challenge requirements and assumptions, identify the underlying business problem, and propose effective solutions.
- Translate business needs into models, processes, and solutions that technical teams can understand and implement.
- Evaluate solution alternatives based on business impact, user experience, architecture, integrations, data, and scalability.
- Collaborate with developers, functional analysts, specialists, and vendors during solution construction and implementation.
- Use AI and Software-Driven Development approaches to accelerate analysis, prototyping, and solution development.
- Build prototypes, automations, or solution components directly when appropriate using AI and modern tools.
- Track initiatives, next steps, owners, dependencies, risks, and blockers without serving as a traditional Project Manager.
- Communicate progress and decisions clearly to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.
- Potentially coordinate and develop a team of functional analysts in the future.
Requirements
- More than seven years of experience in technology, functional analysis, solution design, or similar positions.
- Significant experience as a Senior Functional Analyst, System or Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, Solution Engineer, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, business-process, and solution-design abilities.
- Ability to investigate ambiguous problems, ask effective questions, reconstruct current operations, identify opportunities, and propose future-state solutions.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, lead multidisciplinary working sessions, and manage follow-through to execution.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Technical foundation in data modeling, database design, REST APIs, system integrations, modern architectures, event-oriented architectures, process automation, low-code/no-code tools, and generative AI is valued.
- Ability to prototype or build solutions using AI and Software-Driven Development approaches is valued.
- Preferably a graduate or advanced student in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
- The posting prioritizes experience, problem-solving ability, and judgment over specific certifications.
