Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Guidewire components independently across products such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and Jutro.
- Build integrations, APIs, and decoupled services while maximizing Guidewire out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Perform peer reviews and follow engineering standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Support root-cause analysis for severe or recurring production incidents and drive permanent fixes.
- Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, and senior engineers on solution options, scope, and acceptance criteria.
- Mentor junior Guidewire developers and help build technical depth across teams.
Requirements
- Require 1–3 years of Guidewire development experience.
- Require hands-on experience with multiple Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, or Jutro.
- Require experience with complex integrations, distributed systems, technical delivery across multiple teams or modules, and production stability.
- Require understanding of property and casualty insurance processes and regulatory context.
- Require strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Desirable qualifications include Guidewire Cloud Platform experience, exposure to DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD and observability tools, large-scale or multi-country Guidewire programs, regulated enterprise environments, and platform standards or architecture forums.
