Base Salary
$126k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and delivery for large-scale digital engineering programs across cloud platforms.
- Own design decisions from pre-planning through implementation and chair design reviews across delivery models.
- Establish reusable design patterns and conduct code reviews for scalable microservices architectures.
- Define engineering metrics covering design reviews, code reviews, CI/CD pipeline adoption, and pattern implementation.
- Mentor and coach software engineers while promoting engineering best practices.
- Translate technical and business risks into actionable guidance for senior stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve delivery blockers across cross-functional digital programs.
- Assess technology and business risk and ensure solutions comply with relevant policies.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in application development or equivalent senior-level enterprise architecture experience with deep expertise in at least one technology domain.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS and PCF and the ability to apply architectural patterns across internal and external cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Experience automating code quality, unit testing, and build processes within CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to operate independently, make high-impact architectural decisions, and lead technical direction.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline is beneficial.
- Familiarity with financial industry technology standards and digital banking platforms is beneficial.
- Experience with architecture frameworks and emerging cloud-native technologies, including containerized microservices and event-driven systems, is beneficial.
