Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Architect and ship scalable cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP using serverless, containerized, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
  • Build AI and LLM-powered applications with prompt engineering, RAG patterns, agent orchestration, multimodal capabilities, fine-tuning, and model adaptation.
  • Own full-stack development, including accessible React and React Native interfaces, Django REST and GraphQL APIs, and real-time features using WebRTC, WebSockets, and Server-Sent Events.
  • Lead technical architecture decisions, code reviews, engineering standards, technical roadmaps, documentation, and deployment practices.
  • Establish testing strategies covering unit, integration, agent-based, and end-to-end testing.
  • Create CI/CD pipelines, observability practices, security compliance processes, and cloud authentication patterns.
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, contribute to technical culture, and collaborate with product, design, data engineering, and client stakeholders.
  • Respond to production incidents, conduct post-mortems, and evaluate emerging AI/ML tools and frameworks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience building production-grade software solutions with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Expertise in React, React Native, Redux or Zustand, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and responsive component libraries.
  • Expertise building AI applications with LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, AWS Bedrock, and OpenAI APIs, including token optimization, cost management, and streaming responses.
  • Expertise in Python, Django, REST and GraphQL API design, asyncio, and FastAPI.
  • Experience with multimodal AI, fine-tuning, model adaptation, data quality, and AI governance.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, containerization, Git, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Deep experience developing on AWS, Azure, and GCP, including serverless systems, containers, security, IAM, OAuth, JWT, and SSO.
  • Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, semantic databases, schema design, and query optimization.
  • Proficiency with Jest, Pytest, Selenium, Webpack, Vite, Git workflows, and trunk-based development.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools including CloudWatch, Sentry, and Langfuse.
  • Clear communication, initiative, follow-through, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include a life sciences background, cloud or AI developer certifications, production AI feature delivery, LLM and AI agent development, open-source contributions, PWA development, and edge computing optimization.

  • Base salary range of $128,000–$192,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
