Base Salary
$202k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead projects across multiple engineers.
- Architect scalable Grocery and Retail Shopping experiences for large catalogs.
- Deliver high-quality, performant code for consumer-facing shopping products.
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple teams to align, build, coordinate, and release impactful features.
- Mentor more junior engineers on engineering best practices.
- Optimize latency and develop innovative performance solutions.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or three years of full-time Software Engineering experience including two years of technical software engineering experience.
- Experience with a programming language such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: five or more years of backend experience designing and shipping projects at scale.
- Preferred: experience with production-critical codebases used by tens of millions of users monthly.
- Preferred: experience building highly performant products on product teams.
- Preferred: experience with latency optimization and unconventional performance solutions.
