Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor security measures protecting computer systems, networks, software, and information.
- Monitor, detect, mitigate, and respond to cyber incidents while providing operational cybersecurity and infrastructure support.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and requirements.
- Conduct certification and testing under the Risk Management Framework and NIST policy.
- Identify vulnerabilities and deficiencies and provide risk-mitigation recommendations.
- Integrate projects with USSOCOM ICAM, PKI, ABAC, and RBAC capabilities.
- Automate security and testing processes and integrate security practices into development pipelines.
- Guide teams in unifying software development, deployment, security, and operations.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility are required.
- Qualifying pathways include a BA/BS with 3 years of relevant experience, an AA/AS with 7 or more years of experience, or a high school diploma with 9 or more years of total experience.
- Current DoD 8140 IAT II certification, such as CompTIA Security+, is required.
- Experience with SIEM monitoring tools, IDS/IPS, real-time cybersecurity threat analysis and response, RMF, NIST 800-53, CMMC, Zero Trust architectures, automated testing, and software factories is required.
- Prior USSOCOM experience, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, communication and collaboration abilities, and the ability to work independently are desired.
