Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing of POS applications across web, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.
- Perform REST API testing and validate system integrations.
- Verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for reliable performance.
- Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers on resolution.
- Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and QA documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience testing web applications.
- Practical REST API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and documentation.
- Understanding of defect management, bug life cycles, and bug types.
- Hands-on experience with Jira.
- Intermediate-plus English proficiency for daily communication with global teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Mobile application testing, POS system or hardware peripheral testing, and restaurant, hospitality, or POS industry experience are desirable.
