Responsibilities

  • Analyze and evaluate Artemis II software capabilities to identify technical gaps and develop assessment criteria.
  • Identify software classes and methods requiring additional assessment based on safety, hazard controls, and cyclomatic complexity.
  • Design and develop analytical test procedures and validation rationale, and document and present test outcomes.
  • Create problem reports for failed test cases and defects in code or requirements.
  • Document test environments, commercial tools, configurations, proprietary routines, and other information needed to reproduce tests.
  • Develop unit test stubs and drivers.
  • Collaborate with software development IPTs to integrate and reproduce automated testing frameworks and flight software artifacts.
  • Conduct software peer reviews and document the results according to DRD CEV-T-007.
  • Analyze and support sustaining and mission-reconstitution software activities.
  • Assist with resolving unit test issues.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Knowledge of software unit test processes is required.
  • 5+ years of experience with unit testing for C or C++ is required.
  • Experience with Google Test is required.
  • Experience with embedded flight software is required.
  • Multiple-platform experience with Unix, MS Windows, or Linux is helpful.
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is desired.
  • A bachelor's degree and 9+ years of experience are required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are required.
