Responsibilities
- Create and execute end-to-end functional, regression, batch-load, stress, API, and performance test scenarios across Oracle Utilities systems.
- Design and maintain automated regression suites using Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, and Java-based scripts.
- Conduct high-volume billing, meter-read ingestion, usage-calculation, batch-cycle, and thread-allocation performance testing.
- Plan and execute SIT, UAT, ORT, dress rehearsal, and post-deployment validation or smoke testing.
- Create SQL-based test datasets and validate billing calculations, rate components, GL entries, To-Do creation, and meter-read VEE statuses.
- Test REST/SOAP APIs, middleware interfaces, and web services using SoapUI, Postman, and automated API tools.
- Track defects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center and prepare test execution and sign-off reports.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of testing and performance-engineering experience in Oracle Utilities for the mid-level track, or 8+ years for the senior-level track.
- Experience with Oracle Utilities CC&B, C2M, CCS, and MDM, including utility-scale batch processing and performance testing.
- Experience with Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java or Groovy, HP LoadRunner or LoadRunner Enterprise, and JMeter.
- Experience creating test data, performing backend verification, and checking database state.
- Experience writing test plans, test cases, defect-resolution logs, and summary sign-off reports.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud release regression testing and environment validation.
