Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks.
- Create automated test suites using Playwright, Python, and PyTest.
- Develop API automation tests for RESTful services and build reusable test utilities, libraries, and reporting capabilities.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Partner with developers, product managers, and QE teams to define quality strategies and test coverage.
- Perform root-cause analysis, drive defect prevention, and validate application functionality, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
- Support test execution in AWS-hosted environments and contribute to quality metrics, reporting, and release-readiness assessments.
- Participate in requirements reviews, design discussions, sprint activities, and promotion of quality engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Playwright, PyTest, and automation framework development.
- Strong understanding of API testing and REST services, with experience using tools such as Postman or Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud-hosted applications.
- Experience with test reporting, debugging production-quality systems, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Preferred qualifications include healthcare, insurance, or regulated-environment experience; distributed systems and microservices validation; contract testing; service virtualization; performance or reliability testing; Docker; Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, or CloudWatch; test and environment management; and AI-assisted testing tools.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with specialized training or a relevant professional qualification.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal communication, written communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
