Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated backend and API tests.
- Test backend services and analyze results.
- Maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation.
- Identify and track defects.
- Collaborate with developers, TechOps, and other teams.
- Contribute to testing and quality processes.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of overall engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of mainly backend test automation experience.
- Strong Python and Pytest skills.
- Experience testing REST and gRPC APIs.
- Understanding of microservices and client-server architecture.
- Experience with Linux and Bash.
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Basic SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Kafka and/or Kibana.
- Ability to analyze backend service logs.
- Basic understanding of machine learning.
- Practical use of AI assistants in day-to-day engineering work.
- Experience with IntelicsML is nice to have.
