Responsibilities
- Translate stated and unstated client needs and complex functional requirements into system requirements.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain web-based software applications and independently deliver features for assigned modules.
- Create project plans for small projects and take ownership of application modules.
- Design basic database solutions, establish database objects, and perform database performance tuning.
- Apply troubleshooting and debugging techniques to improve delivery speed and efficiency.
- Review code and suggest enhancements while adhering to coding, QA, and configuration-management standards.
- Analyze production infrastructure, interfaces, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with customers, onshore counterparts, supervisors, team members, business analysts, and business teams.
- Use Agile practices, source-code management, and continuous build-integrate-test processes.
Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology.
- At least 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with .NET or Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and React JS.
- Understanding and hands-on experience with ASP.NET and MVC.
- Knowledge of AWS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, microservice architecture, Git, and Jira with Agile/Scrum.
- Hands-on experience with Cursor and Claude Code is highly desirable.
- Node.js and OpenAPI/Swagger knowledge are optional.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle, application development, database design, performance tuning, production infrastructure, and QA practices.
- Strong verbal, written communication, interpersonal, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
