Base Salary
$150k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and develop the display and graphics stack across different embedded platforms.
- Build and maintain rendering engines, UI frameworks, display pipelines, and related GPU driver and userspace graphics components.
- Collaborate with Design and UX engineers to implement designs on devices at full fidelity.
- Optimize graphics pipelines for performance, latency, and efficient memory bandwidth across graphics architectures.
- Establish practices for graphics development, testing, performance regression, and CI.
Requirements
- Require 7+ years of industry experience in graphics or UI engineering.
- Require deep hands-on experience with Vulkan, OpenGL ES, shader authoring using GLSL and SPIR-V, and render pipeline design.
- Require strong experience with vector graphics rendering and animation.
- Require experience developing for embedded or resource-constrained systems with limited RAM, GPU capacity, and thermal headroom.
- Require solid C++ skills and familiarity with Linux userspace development.
- Require experience owning a UI framework or rendering engine used by other engineers.
- Require strong cross-functional communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include low-level display hardware, Serializer/Deserializer, video links, display interfaces, display virtualization, retained-mode and immediate-mode rendering frameworks, SVG, GPU-accelerated vector rendering, MIPI DSI, HDMI, embedded Linux display driver integration, Unreal, Unity, and shipped commercial system-level UI or graphics stacks.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a US base salary range of $150,000–$350,000 annually.
- Additional compensation components and benefits may be included depending on the specific role and shared if an employment offer is extended.
