Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop WLAN features focused on 802.11 specification correctness.
- Write, review, and maintain Python-based WLAN tests running in Fuchsia’s infrastructure connectivity test lab.
- Contribute to the next generation of infrastructure device architecture for Fuchsia connectivity.
- Implement and monitor device metrics for crashes, performance, and feature rollout.
- Identify opportunities to improve software stack efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least two years of software development experience using Rust.
- Experience with software engineering in a wireless networking environment.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
- Preferred: experience developing wireless networking protocols and devices.
