Responsibilities
- Build automated detection systems to identify abusive behavior.
- Take systems from idea to proof-of-concept to production-grade.
- Develop and maintain YARA rule infrastructure.
- Create integrations with external threat intelligence platforms.
- Build data pipelines that ingest intelligence from various sources.
- Develop behavioral analytics capabilities using DBT-based frameworks.
- Establish feedback loops with investigators to tune detection systems.
- Scrape and normalize data from external sources.
Requirements
- Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow or DBT.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence concepts including IOCs and YARA rules.
- Experience integrating external APIs and building data ingestion systems.
- Ability to translate investigator needs into technical requirements.
- Comfortable building initial systems and iterating based on feedback.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with non-engineering stakeholders.
