Responsibilities
- Work on assigned avionics software projects and modules with limited oversight.
- Manage or support requirements, reliability, coordination, evaluation, optimization, and risk-management activities for small projects.
- Perform software development lifecycle activities including requirements, design, coding, integration, and verification.
- Conduct development, V&V, debugging, troubleshooting, white-box, unit, integration, and verification testing.
- Perform software-software and hardware-software integration and debugging.
- Ensure compliance with DO-178B/C certification objectives.
- Support SOI submissions, reviews, and audits with internal and external certification authorities.
Requirements
- B.Tech or M.Tech with understanding of avionics systems and software architecture, including datalink, CNS, FMS, and displays.
- Good programming ability in C++, C, or Python.
- Experience with software development lifecycle activities and exposure to DO-178B/C.
- Experience in development, V&V, SCA, debugging, troubleshooting, white-box testing, and unit, integration, and verification testing.
- Preferred 3–5 years of avionics experience.
- Preferred hands-on experience with VectorCast, PyATE, RapiTest, Git, and Subversion.
- Knowledge of ARINC 429, 618, 620, 622, A661, A739, and A615 protocols.
- Knowledge of CPDLC, ADS-C, ATN Context Management, and FANS ACARS AFN data-link applications.
- Knowledge of DO-258A and ED-110B data-link industry standards.
- Exposure to DevSecOps, cybersecurity, networking, and ACDE pipeline tools.
