Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization, design, implementation, and delivery of scalable financial technology applications.
- Make strategic decisions and develop processes that improve system scalability, security, performance, quality, and time to market.
- Define coding, testing, automation, software engineering, and SDLC best practices across the enterprise.
- Lead projects using emerging technologies, conduct code reviews, eliminate defects and bottlenecks, and deliver high-quality mission-critical applications.
- Provide technical on-call support and respond to incident inquiries as needed.
- Guide UI/UX enhancements using user feedback and collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor, mentor and coach engineers, and align technical initiatives with organizational priorities.
- Build stakeholder relationships and lead adoption of new technologies across full-stack, frontend, and backend development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 13–15 years of related experience in software development, including full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering.
- One cloud certification: AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Digital Leader.
- Deep expertise in multiple programming languages and software development lifecycle practices.
- Preferred: 15–17 years of related experience in software development, including full-stack, frontend, backend, and UI/UX engineering.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, Amazon Web Services, React.js, Angular, and Flutter.
