Responsibilities
- Own technical delivery for a portfolio of restaurant technology partners, including scoping, design, implementation, launch, and operations.
- Collaborate with partner engineers to implement Uber APIs and webhooks and ensure testing, rollback planning, and launch readiness.
- Build reusable integration patterns, templates, libraries, runbooks, reference implementations, test harnesses, onboarding documentation, and automation.
- Triage and resolve production issues across partner and Uber systems while improving observability and preventing recurring incidents.
- Work with product, platform, business development, and operations stakeholders across EMEA to translate ecosystem needs into technical plans.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience shipping production integrations involving APIs, webhooks or events, SDKs, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, with the ability to write and review production-quality code.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working directly with external technical stakeholders to deliver implementations through ambiguity, including technical scoping, timelines, and launch readiness.
- Preferred experience with restaurant technology or adjacent commerce ecosystems, including POS, KDS/OMS, menu or catalog synchronization, payment flows, or delivery aggregation and middleware.
- Preferred understanding of reliability, observability, scale, idempotency, retries, rate limits, monitoring, incident response, SQL, analytics, and integration health prioritization.
