Responsibilities
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives and Applied AI Architects to guide UK enterprise customers through technical evaluation, proof of value, procurement, and the decision to build on Claude.
- Lead technical opportunity work and remain the customer’s technical advisor during deployment.
- Define target architectures, success criteria, and delivery guidance for customers and systems integration partners.
- Advise customer engineering teams on architecture, agent design, evaluation, security, compliance, data residency, governance, and production readiness.
- Build and present value cases for C-level and senior executive stakeholders.
- Feed enterprise engagement patterns back to Anthropic’s Product, Engineering, and Applied AI teams.
- Travel to customer sites across the UK.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed Engineer, or technical founder.
- Pre-sales or technical advisory experience with large enterprise customers, including technical evaluations, proofs of concept, security and legal due diligence, and procurement.
- Experience with value-based selling and presenting business cases to C-level and VP-level stakeholders.
- Production experience with LLM-powered applications, including prompting, context engineering, agent architectures, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
- Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, and architecture requirements, ideally in regulated sectors.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts to technical and executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field or demonstrated through relevant coursework, training, or professional experience.
