Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the P2P stack.
- Expand and support an ecosystem of more than 1,500 public npm modules.
- Write modular and maintainable production-scale Node.js code.
- Create and manage reusable npm modules.
- Test, debug, and optimize network protocols or systems for latency and throughput.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote, globally distributed team.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing production-scale applications with Node.js.
- Strong competency in writing modular, maintainable code.
- Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules.
- Solid testing and debugging skills.
- Deep interest or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems.
- Comfort working remotely with a globally distributed team and strong communication skills.
- Preferred: experience with native Node.js extensions using C/C++ or binding JavaScript to lower-level code.
- Preferred: familiarity with advanced networking concepts and demonstrated network protocol or systems optimization experience.
- Preferred: contributions to open-source projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology.
